LiveboxGallery is an independent streaming gear review site. I built it because most gear reviews online are written by people who’ve never actually streamed — they unbox the product, run a quick spec comparison, and call it a review.
Every recommendation here comes from real streaming sessions on Twitch and YouTube. I test capture cards, microphones, webcams, and lighting in the same conditions you’d actually use them: long sessions, live audiences, hardware that has to work every time.
My background
I’ve been streaming on Twitch and creating content on YouTube for over four years. In that time I’ve gone through every level of setup — from a $40 USB mic and no capture card, up to a dedicated dual-PC stream rig with professional lighting.
That progression is exactly why I write for beginners and experienced creators equally. I know what it’s like to research gear for hours and still get it wrong. The goal here is to shorten that process for you.
How I review gear
- Real session testing — Every product runs through actual streams, not just a bench test.
- Side-by-side comparisons — Competing products tested under identical conditions before I recommend one.
- Updated regularly — Prices and firmware updates are re-checked monthly so recommendations stay accurate.
- OBS & Streamlabs tested — All capture cards and audio gear are tested with both major streaming apps.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This never influences which products I recommend. I only link to gear I’ve tested and would personally buy.
LiveboxGallery is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Affiliate commissions help keep this site running and allow me to keep buying gear to test.
